Yes, Jamie Dobbs.

From the WellyLUG list archives (before Naos Ltd -- my company -- took
over hosting the mailing list, but someone supplied their mail archive
to be imported at the time so I _think_ the mail archives are complete
for "this" list):

Hi, I'm Jamie and I've been using Linux on and off for about 12-18
months now.

I also look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at our
first meeting at the Johnsonville Community Centre, at 7:30pm on
Monday 12 June - more details and maps can be found on the website at
http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/lug/

The earliest archive left of that site is 2001:

https://web.archive.org/web/20010501104316/http://homepages.paradise.net.nz:80/lug/

but it still indicates meeting at the Johnsonville Community Centre as
of 2001. IIRC I went to a couple of meetings at the Johnsonville
Community centre, and then a few more when it moved into LAN Place in
town, in the same building it's been in since (seems to have been at LAN
Place, etc, since at least late 2003 -- eg, oldest archive of the
WellyLug site --
https://web.archive.org/web/20031207024522/http://www.wellylug.org.nz:80/)
Off the top of my head I don't think I've been to a Wellylug meeting
since it was at LAN Place -- Monday's always conflicted with the Film
Society screenings...

For future historians, "this" mailing list was:
- a Yahoo Group originally
- on lists.naos.co.nz IIRC from 2003-04-15 to 2013-11-xx
- on lists.wellylug.org.nz from 2013-11-xx

(I suggested someone register wellylug.org.nz, which seems to have been
registered at 2013-11-17 11:11, which was about 6 months after Naos took
over hosting the mailing list --
http://lists.wellylug.org.nz/pipermail/wellylug/2003-April/002582.html.
Naos Ltd then hosted the list through until late 2017, until Hugh
Davenport took over, despite several people saying they were moving the
list "next month" over the years... :-) )

DiGiTAL ViSiON (or DVS):

https://web.archive.org/web/19980118090745/http://dvs.net.nz:80/

Copyright "1997 by Spiro Harvey & DVS Web Design."

The FAQ for instance seems to confirm that was Spiro Harvey's site.

Looks like he stopped using it as that around 2001:

https://web.archive.org/web/20010419140836/http://www.dvs.net.nz:80/
https://web.archive.org/web/20010711195630/http://www.dvs.net.nz:80/

(there are some later site archives which are "not found" redirects,
Cpanel, and what looks like someone else using the domain name; there
are also "Digital Vision" companies that existed, but don't seem to have
been Spiro.)

LinkedIn suggests Spiro Harvey is still around Wellington, but IIRC I
last saw him in person at Knossos / On Networks a couple of years back.
He seems to still have the starforge.net.nz domain for instance, so that
email address might work (see, eg, his WellyLug posts), if someone
wanted to ask about history.
