I think people just need to get-the-hell-over-it.
Every mailing list has a small amount of noise, the bigger the list the
bigger the proportion typically. LUGs on the whole are fairly well
managed and kept reasonably on-topic - the odd digression wont break the
bank.
Trust me, you want poor list behavior? I can point you at a couple of
lists I use.. (note: theyre not IT related. )
I don't really think WellyLUG has a problem outside of the relatively
strong feelings of a vocal minority... the discussion has well and truly
outweighed the original problem !
