I'm sure some rules could be worked out defining what is or isn't
acceptable.

There is a list for this, but it's not really used or promoted.
My problem with the current situation is that someone offering a
genuinely 100% linux related service, such as training or a linux
sysadmin job wouldn't be able to promote on the main list, which I think
is a shame.
