Chicken and egg.  This happens with all spinoff mailing lists; the value
in the list is in the audience scale and scope... a fragment of the list
is hardly going to have the desired effect.

'build it and they will come' doesn't apply for this sort of thing. The
volume is so low as to hardly demand the time it'd take to subscribe to,
and them manage subscription of, a seperate mailing list.

If the will of the masses is to stick with the strictly-no-advertising
position, I see the LUG as losing out on an opportunity to be a
facilitator for Linux and other F/OSS employment in the Wellington area
_for the benefit of the members_. I'd much rather see coveted positions go
to a LUG member, and i'd much rather see a LUG member looking for work get
first/early dibs on any positions up their alley.
